How to adapt RB8 dashboard in Audi A4 2004

Just one simple question:
How to adapt a RB8 dashboard in a RB4 car?
I'm talking about an Audi A4 2004 Mod. B6.

I know that there are different immo generations, but I have seen that it is possible.

Does somebody know how to edit ecu or dashboard so that they are communicating?

I know that I have immo III in my car. The rb8 dashboard is immo IV.

Do you know how to modifiy the ecu and dashboard?

I explain one more time:
A4 B7 with 1.8T and 2.5TDI have RB8 dash but immo3! You can search for this type of cluster or just search for RB4 with color display. More I cant You help...

I have understood your suggestion, but I have a RB8 with immo 4 and I want to adapt this dashboard in my immo 3 car.

I do not want to buy another dashboard. I want to adapt this one!

Then You have problem, because RB8 is really hard dash. I think Audi made extra RB8 immo3 for cars with immo3 because immo4 cluster dont work with.

I read them decrypted.

There is a solution with a modified ecu and a modified dump of the dashboard but I cant find that solution :(

I know that it is possible if you edit the ecu dump. The difference between immo 3 and immo 4 is the length of the crypto block and of course login, mac, cs instead of login and immo id.

Immo off is not a good way on audi a4 :(

Why Audi make RB8 immo3 clusters when You tell us that immo4 RB8 cluster can work without problem with edc15 or me7 ecu?

I dont know why audi is doing that.
Immo 3 -> immo 2 is also possible. So immo 4 -> immo 3 is also supposed to be possible.

Don't you think?

Do you know how the immo works?
Does the ecu communicates with dashboard or dashboard with ecu?

Because I have already this dashboard here.

In both ways? I always thought that dashboard reads cs from dump and compares cs in ecu at 0x0F0. Same with mac.

Or how is the immo working?

I dont know exactly how it work but:
I have add transponder direct to dump from RB8 dash. Safe is gone. When put back to car and ECU answer Safe again on dashboard. I think it is proof that is bidirectional.

Dont you think, that the cluster searches for immo and mac at a specific position in the dump?

If I compare edc15 and edc16 I can see that the cs stands on another position then the immo id. mac is not given because dump is too short.

It is no fixed code and in dump You have only data what are used by processor.

in dump i have immo data! if this immo data is correct or the same as cluster the car starts.

wfs4c has a changing no (bytes) yes, but what does this no do`?

In immo4 RB8 in key You have stored 12th byte, in immo3 You have stored only 7th byte. When You put now 7th byte from RB4 to RB8 what You place as 5th byte?? When You have solution for it You will have really much money because You can probably same way place Golf 6 dash in Golf 5...

Guys I have same problem D I want to adapt RB8 IMMO 4 dash from 2.5 tdi B6 2004 into B6 2001 where was RB4 immo 3 :(..... i made immo off in EDC15 but hazard warning lights are active and clima not working...when I will made valid key for that dash...will solve this issue?

RB8 is wfs4 so I think it is immo 4...but it is from 2.5 tdi...which is EDC15 :(
