anyone tried or got a chinese windows 7 tablet pc sort of ipad copy?

the spec doesnt look too bad

Resistive screen? capacative? id take a punt if it was a capacitive screen.. if resistive, stay away

will have to have a look myself i think i need a cheaper one though i personally will not be forking out so much for a tablet not to jump on da band wagon......... a wise man once said >>patience is a virtue << i'll wait a little bit longer

they are getting better but as u say not super yet ,, still cant beat a small netbook , there better still

there are cheaper ones with a smaller hard drive or even solid state drive but im looking for 500gb .... it would be great to hear from some one who has one ... there must be at least dk'er thats bought one surely lol

as am i garry for shady jr, whilst looking, the best bang for buck i have found is the hanspree hannspad, bit too big for shady jr, otherwise thats the one id be getting him]

Same shady for the wee man and hes only 9 months lol. Gets up in the morning and watches disney junior on my android phone from the dreambox, only problem is he's ~~~~ed up my phone good and proper lol.

Thats a nice tablet like the design of it, its not trying to be a ipad in design.

i agree, if it was for me, i would more than likely buy a cheap chinese tablet, but as its for kids, really need to buy in uk from trustworthy well known source in case things go tits up, if you want a tablet for the little one.. dont think yopu'll go far wrong with the vtech innotab

cant see the vtech innotab being able to stream from the dreambox lol.
