View Full Version : Galletto read error but seems to be working?

Hi,

I have just read my ECU EDC16 using the Galletto interface.

It detects the ecu fine. Then reads it to 100% but the pop up reads:

"GALLETTOError End of read. TURN OFF THE DASHBOARD"

The stored file is of the correct size and looks normal in winols.

Is this a fault or just normal operation? I ask as I don not want to write a file if the galletto is not properly working.

Thanks very much

Adam

Easiest way to find out is to find org file from that ecu and compare it. Try to read it again and see will error show. Also if you are not shure in your galeto read ecu with bdm and dont worry.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have looked on the disc that came with the galletto but the other s320cdi ones are different.

Does any one have the original s320cdi file?

Bosch 0281011252 (a6481530879) OM648 Euro 3.

Or can anyone check if the file is ok:

81705

Thanks

The reading is OK, but i don't think galetto can write the ecu.
It is an EDC16C31 with BL802 flash.

I noticed in winols it came up as an EDC16C31 software 367141.

Galletto in the ecu detect thinks its a EDC16C/C2_4.

Do you know what software/hardware I should use for this ecu?

All I want to do is turn off the EGR.

Thanks very much

You will not be able to write this ecu, dont waste time. Read it with BDM

Thanks for the help. I have now bought a bdm100 clone and read the ecu.

I read the seperate files individually.

It looks like I just write my modified file to BL802 input.

Do I need to do anything with the e2prom and mpc555 files?

Sorry for the basic questions. I tried searching but could not find a definitive answer.

Cheers

Adam

no need to touch E2p and mpc but read and save all if need later...
