Hi Dk members,anyone here tested ICOM clone?
i see many supliers offer this for a price around 1000 USD.
But they offer without software but this wil not be a problem.
Anyone test this clone?
Work on most too?

Icom work only with Ista D. Optical fiber will never work so Ista P is unavailable.

In my case, I bought 3 clone ICOMS.
I tested with E 87,E90,E60,E85.
All cars work fine.diagnose&programing.

Update same original. With ISIS or manual WEB admin interface. No problem )

I wrilly want to see how its the scanning speed with clones.
I have the emulator but the speed its low in comparation with real icom,this its why the emulator don t have a big future this time

yes all chines is with one mac address,I have one original and 2 chines
now work via solution what to change mac address in chines ICOMs

Original and chines work same,only original have WIFi.

With the chinese copy is 2 problem in the moment:

1.Same mac address and you can not used at the same time.
2.Looks like original outside but i think inside is not the same quality ( becarefull when you start flashing hunderd off dollars cars).

Anybody use the VMware version? I have a problem with ISTA/D when doing "Component Actuations" I can not see the names of the components I want to activate, all I see is dotted lines. And also, when I try to do "Service Light Reset", I get an error something about information not available. Anyone have this problem?

You simply have to find the SSH password (which I don't know) so you can login and change the mac address.

hello m8's wondering can i disable seat occupancy sensor via icom?

p.s.

need to disable on e90 from 07 with new type not like e39 use to have which you may bypass it with two resistors and diode.
