hi

ive got a customer that purchased a 2008 toyota yaris that was involved in an accident, im now in the process of putting it back together, but the key the customer has is not recognised by the immobiliser, im wondering if anyone on the forum could program a new key for this customer, if she sent the ecu to them.

Use eprom programmer to read eprom 93c56 from immo box.
Use key reader to read key_data from new key.

If key is customers original key for the car, you could try bridge pins 4 & 13 in the obd socket for 40 minutes with ignition on. That will resync immo and ecu.

Otherwise you're looking at taking out the immo box, key can't be written into the ECU. The box is a pain in the ass to get out, PM me if you need help locating and removing it.

Hello friend take your file and put it in TMpro2, Tmpro2 recognizes the file and can generate a new transponder for your car, you need a TPX2 and generate a 4D67.

you can solve this sympton with:
- make new key, need tpx2
- virgine dump, need registered methode.
- adding key data to immo dump, cars ready to start.

usually, go to the locksmith, they will use a specific key copying machine, like SBB key maker, then get a toyota key blank to produce a toyota key via OBD2 diagnostic socket, even though the customer lost key...
would you like to contact me at:I am glad if I have chance to explain you in details.
