Technomate 600-PIN unlock?

Hi guys,
A buddy of mine has a TM 600 and the box is now not online. When I try to go in to the expert menu it asks me for a PIN. I've tried all the obvious ones, 1234, 0000 etc and nothing works. Any idea on how to reset this,or is there any way to see what the IP address is? I've tried a running IPconfig from my PC but it cant see the box.

did you try "2011" that would work on the non linux tm's but on the linux ones you will have to reflash it with the null modem lead to reset the pin as far as i know
