TRANSFER EDC16C2 WITH XPROG

i transfer one processor flash 0x00000-0x6fffff ,memory 29bl802c (1mb) and the serial eeprom 95320 with xprog.



the matter is that the ecu not started and also not be found.


xprog verifies the writing .

What i have done wrong with xprog to transfer ecu edc16c2 of mercedes w211 cdi

You read it by BDM? if yes ,try to read MPC cpu config A config B and MPC and write into new ECU

If you want to clone ecu you need to write all memories MPC, Flash, eep. They are paired.

i did it config A WAS THE SAME and config B was all ff.

i did mpc with the configs
i did 29bl802 but xprog did 1mb ,in manual i see 8mb
i did 95320

what it may have happen ?

in veirfy was all good.

in some forums i read that xprog can not transfer all data of mpc556 which is 00000-70fff but tranfer only
00000-6ffff

so with xprog you can not do tranfer of mpc556 only you can do transfer of serial eeprom and 29bl802

i think that xprog will work in ecus that has the same data after 0x6fffff . the data 0x70000-70fff are the same for most mpc.
but xprog read only 0x70000-0x700ff .
if those data are different in mpc556 the xprog will not work.

but th bdm100 will work in area 70000-70fff.

As i can see the cofiguration b of xprog are all data ff.

In my case the ecu should work because the data 70000-70fff must be the same .

Can someone send one file of this ecu w-211 edc16 the processor data files of bdm read th check this?

I cloned 1 edc16 from mercedes .W211 2.7cdi

For me car starts and everything OK.

may be i use 12v +12v ignition from pads and the ecu has locked?

The orig ecu has damaged 30458 IC and I use external power supply (5V ,and 3.3V direct in circuit not on BDM port). But second (used) ecu I use 12v + 12V ignition .

read/write mpc by BDM100 and your ecu will be unlocked
i will be wonder if you unlock your ecu by xprogm
