How, how, how??? Ive tried numerous times to program these damn CAS Key remotes and the remote features never work, it starts the car ONLY. Ive tried TMPro2, Abrites,Tag Key Tool, Tango and god knows what else, how are you guys doing this and what keys are you using?? How many more millions do I need to invest in these BMW CAS Keys before I have 100% success with remote features? Im sick of these stupid things and now BMW had to go and introduce CAS4 didnt they, damn you BMW, damn you! :eviltongue:

After programming with Tango, you still have to follow some procedures for the remote to work but believe me, it does.

BMW CAS remote key activation

After the key has been programmed with Tango, several procedures have to be done additionally to complete adaptation of remote features.

After Tango writes a key the new file for immo will be generated. This file have to be saved and uploaded into the CAS.

Old key with a blade:

Insert the key in the ignition lock.

Switch ignition ON (position 2).

Wait at least 30 sec.

Switch ignition OFF and remove the key.

Insert the key in the ignition lock and start an engine.

Allow the engine to run at least 1 min.

Switch ignition OFF and remove the key from the ignition lock.

Close all doors, if it was open.

Press buttons CLOSE, OPEN at the key, remote is ready for operating.

New key without a blade:

Insert the key in the key hole. The mechanism will ?suck? the key.

In case of no activity see hardware problems such as solder points, plugs, etc.

Switch ignition ON (position 2).

Wait at least 30 sec.

Switch ignition OFF and remove the key.

Insert the key in the key hole and start an engine.

Allow the engine to run at least 1 min.

Switch ignition OFF and remove the key from the ignition lock.

Close all doors, if it was open.

Press buttons CLOSE, OPEN at the key, remote is ready for operating.

At an old CAS mainly on E65 the remote may not operate after this procedure. In this case, leave the vehicle and close all doors.

Wait about 5 min, within this time a dashboard will switch off, also will off illumination and the car goes into the ?sleep? mode.

Enter in the car, start an engine for a few seconds, switch ignition OFF and press buttons of the key. Remote must be active.

HI, Agabna
You don't require the programmed key for what eepromripper is talking.
You have to read CAS mcu dump and from that you generate a new CAS dump and key. The procedure above is to learn the new remote functions.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

may be you mistake somewhere here is discussed CAS3+.
tango not working with CAS3 in EWS4SK mode. CAS3+ also is not in the supported list.
