help need

Hi im new and was wondering if any 1 could help my girlfriends daughter has a dsi with a R4 card it was working fine yesterday. But today when she tried to play with it it just say's to restart the console she cant rememebr where she got the card so i would like to TRY fix it for her as her girl likes the games that are on it. I have never tried to do anything like it before so any help would be great
