Hi everyone!

I bought CanClip, and i want to install the software onto a tablet running XP tablet 2005.
When i try to install i get a message saying to intall on xp pro, vista or 7...
I've been trying to change the register to get the xp tablet to be seen as xp pro, but i'm scared to end with the tablet unbootable...
There is a way to get this done?
The user "Patrian" seems to know how to do it...
Any help will be much appreciated...

Good, nothing worse than having to stoop low and regastar with inferior forums.

Between you and me only, i 'joined' an inferior website, purly and simply to leech a file - could not find it anywhere, waited till was 3am, then went on, downloaded, logged out, clered cookes.

But keep that to yourself

*CONFUSED*

I was on about leeching a crack to a ~~~~ movie, not about a windows utility.

Can only suggsut, you obtain a 'spare' harddrive, format in another manchine, install clit or whatever, then insert to your tab, see what damaege it causrses

I also tried to install clip on a Toshiba MX200/400 tablet pc useless. I edited lots of registry but due of time i dropped this activity fast.plenty laptops here, but of course customes like to see professionals tablets ( fool customers) and dust in their eyes brings money..

I think its better to edit the ini file of clip software to agree the tablets installation instead modifiy the windows files.

Hi
Thank you for the answer...
I think there is a misunderstand somewhere around here...
I know about that reg file to run before the instalation, which i did, the instalation starts with no problem, basicaly just stops saying that Win tablet is not supported...
Are we talking about two diferent problems, or i'm wrong?

when you do a search it is only valid for a short time - you need to research and try again!

Hi all...
Thank you all for all the replies to my problem...
Is now sorted, and i might confess, that now i could have sorted the issue just by have done a litle bit more research....
Sorry about that.
But the bottom line is, is nice to see how people are willing to help... that i believe is the main reason why forums like DK exist.
I whish a nice day to all of you....
