hi, i need some help guys, the instrument clutcher of a tahoe 2005 is not working ok, the speed gauge , stock, any help how to fix it, i openit and move it but still the same some times works when truck is running sometimes does not, any help how to fix it thansk>>>>:beer:

Hi,

Not shure what exactly you mean but if its the mileage needle that gets stuck it 100% the steppermotor that is defect.
If nothing works at all i solved it a couple of times in resoldering the whole board, they often have cold solderings.

If the speedometer does not move the problem is the XC5 168 STEPPER MOTOR.

You have to replace with x25 168. Very common problem on these trucks

I think common problem also with the Hummer H2s. There are a couple of sellers in ebay for these stepper motors.

same problem for all the GM vehicles form 2003-2006 and some 2002 vehicles also
