Hello
Anyone have experience with Launch X431 Diagun clone, do they work properly?

What hardware would you choose of these 2: Launch X431 Diagun clone or Bosch KTS ?

Thanks

Are there any Chinese clone of DIAGUN?

As I know it is the same Diagun produced for Chinese market and this is the reason for lower price.

The price will tell me to chose diagun.

I can say that Diagun it is better the KTS
Many reasons.
I tested them on many car in 2 years.
Now I do testing with Texxa
Diagun in most of the covreraged cars are very good and have much more functions then both KTS and Texxa
The problem it is that if you buy a clone Diagun you muct have updates because some of the Diagun softwears version has bugs and when you get a Diagun and you cannot upgrade it you'll cannot make diagnostinc in that brand anymore.
So take care in the Chinese market all are resellers and they just sell it no updates and support. ( most of them said that you'll have warranty and upgrades but you'll never have it )
Take care.
Good luck

there is no Diagun clone. diagun is made by Launch. just sold for china marked with china cars inside, not european, and resellers change software and made it european too.
all diagun are originals.

all tools are good ,each one have their own abilities .
Texa good on trucks and italiens .
KTS great on bosch systems and pumps .
Diagun great on japanese cars .
better to have them all.

I have Diagun and I have also KTS and Texxa to compare
All of them has good things and bad things
Form all of them I prefer Diagun
Because :
- has more coverage on any Asian , European and American cars
- more fuinction
- cheapest price
- no stop working if you dosen't want to upgrade
I make a lot of compating between this three tool
The Diagun it is number one ( in diagnostic of cars )
KTS has multimeter and ossciloscop, Texxa has cars, Agricultures, Industriales and Trucks
I don't worked with Breen Bee and Carbrain to talk about them
But when you don't work with them in comparation for a while and on many cars you can not make an good opinion about this
My opinion is that Diagun is better then KTS and Texxa but it is just my opinion
The best it is that you'll have factory tools for each brand of group
Good luck

I just came back from a Bosch meeting, and here in the UK they are going to up the investment in KTS 670 the plug some of the (enormous) coverage gaps, namely land rover and jaguar and eastern stuff. if poss they want to get to autologic level capability. Better to have a range of machines. never used Diagun so can't comment on that.

From my point of view.I have positive things about KTS and diagun:

KTS:
More functions but you need time to learn all and is not quite user friendly.
Very useful datebase.
If KTS have oscilloscope then you have one powerful tool more.

Diagun:
Cheap
Tool is very easy to use.

Diagun : very cost effective for level of support provided.

KTS: great tool if used to full effect, not as user friendly as the diagun.

diagun is a good tool has better coverage for jap stuff than kts but kts has a full package with a lot of tech data really depends what cars you see alot of and how much tech you need

Diagun is a good tool for asian cars but for european cars I chose KTS and if you have a ford with delphi injection clearly you ned DELPHI
So if you don't have all you have nothing

I use tools from Launch since 2005 and I"m happy with them.
I also had Kts 650 ,not good ,very slow tool in comparation with Diagun.
Instead Kts I prefer Diagun or Autocom.
