DIY upgrade Labtool

Don't want to sound like the cheap skate that I am but is there a way to convert and upgrade a parallel port labtool to usb version . The main reason is I popped my cloned X Progm and want to reflash the Atmega64 , and the old labtool dont have this mcu in device list .

Have a look round google about how to program Atmega eg:
Simplest 128 atmega programmer | Scientific, embedded, biomedical, electronics contents. (http://www.scienceprog.com/simplest-128-atmega-programmer/)
This will not fix your labtool but might be able to fix xprog
