go to any channel and press 9991 on your remote a menu should appear and in there you will find your cline, just note everything down and your good to go.

But you won't lose your cline when updating firmware you only lose them when you factory reset the box, but id still make a note of them just in case.

they are password protected by seller, and he aint been seen since april,so i dont no what he did as it isnt 0000

i updated firmware in may with no probs tho, just dont wanna do it and lose em,as it will be another sub then

you wont lose em dnt worry if you upgrade tho. The only way to overite the password is to do a factory reset but then you will deffo lose the cline n the info but i could be wrong.

Like i said you won't lose the cline if your just doing a firmware update

Hi fellas,

I wonder if anyone can help me...

Whenever I switch channels via the number pad on the remote, the box seems to lose its signal and I get a 'no video/audio' message on the screen. I then have to swtch the unit to stanby and back on for the channel to show up. It doesn't happen if I switch channels via guide or prg up/down.

Any ideas?

Just downloaded the latest BM7000s firmware from 1st page BM7000s-05-10-11-7ex, have noticed it does not end with .stb just ends with 7ex, before I flash my box and it goes flash, am I rigfht in saying to rename the unzipped file so it ends with .stb then the box will recognise it? :)

I renamed the file, ending it with .stb so the box would see it, it does see the file but as soon as you try to load it, "Invalid STB file", tried renaming it ending with 7e.stb to no avail, has anybody else had this problem, the blade took tha last firmware with no hickups

u dont need to rename it m8 just flash it as it is thats wat i did.

Its not seen as a file on the memory stick although it is there cause I just put it there, wierd, will give it another go, I am in utils, download, and as soon as I select the file, it tries to read then says "Invalid STB file"

Just downloaded the zip file again, its writing to the blade as I write, the file must have become corupt as I unzipped first time around, box reads 100% success, excellent, thanks for the updated file with the 9991 option, great

Hi people!

In my epic quest to learn more about the Blade before I buy it, I want to know, does this latest patched f/w allow for the EPG to be saved on to USB or does it get deleted when the box is in standby?

Saved to HDD. Not well tho, a bit intermittent.

Is there anyway to configure the channel numbers on an .ndf channel list. I can't find any option to configure the channel numbers on NDFedit.

For example, I want 101 to BBC 1 instead of 001. Similarly, I want 503 to BBC News and not just some random number.

I want the channel numbers on the Blade to mirror that on a sly box.

Can this be done on the computer using any software or will I have to do this on the blade box itself?

You must think of me to be so bizarre to worry about such trivial things before I even purchase the Blade!

First thing I tried when I got my first dream box. I tell you, it isn't worth the hassle. You have to have blank channels.

not really possible on any box as you would have to fill the spare slots with blank channels in order to achieve this , and that means 100 blank channels before you even start , and hundreds more to get sky news onto 503

these boxes have a favourites section , so you just add all the news into news , kids channels into kids , film channels into movies , sports into sports etc

then just use the categories in order to get to the genre required

I have bbc1HD on 1 , bbcHD on 2 , itv1HDgra on 3 etc in my favourite list
