When its jailbroken what exactly can you do with it? Is it possible to connect a usb to it through a micro usb wire? And can you install a web browser on it and surf the net? Also is it possible to watch movies from online sites like veetle? If anyone could help i would appreciate it as in looking to buy one but only if i can do some of the above many thanks

Looking in to this as well mate. Have all the files and add ons for one I get one which will hopefully be this week. Have a read at applehacks, jailbreakappletv and wikixbmc for plenty of info.

To the best of my knowledge and having done a fair bit of reading the answers to your questions are:-

1. No;
2. Yes;
3. Yes

The internal flash memory is circa 8gb so you could save relatively small files on it then play from that (e.g. avi films etc). Icefilems has just went down but there are other options available.
