hi all.
anyone know how to reload software patch
and in what order
********************************
you need to do a forced download to clear the problem
make sure you use the correct patch or software for this
you can do the forced download with either the patch
or the official software from technomate.com this way
first turn your sat receiver off with the switch on the rear panel near the rs232 port you have connected your null modem cable to from the computer next open the patch or software you are going to load, then open v187 loader panel and click browse on the loader to find
and load the software onto the loader then on the v187 loader click connect you will now see on the loader panel [connect to receiver and turn on] now go to the receiver and turn it on with the switch on the rear panel
this will start the forced download and clear the problem
if on the rare ocassions this dose'nt work and it does'nt download immediately give it a few moments to start then if nothing happens close the loader turn the receiver off and do the same again it might need a couple of trys before it works

when you say nothings happened, is the receiver still locked
or can you now use the remote to change channels or enter the menu?

unzip the attached file, then using the loader and a null modem cable flash with this, then flash with latest TM file then patch again and youll be good to go

If thats what you did

you cannot load the wrong patch onto the box, the loader wont allow the patch to be sent, and via usb youll get an onscreen message saying its incompatible

ive tried to force every type of patch onto every type of box just to test this
