Got a 2009 fiesta tdci, was accident damage to bumper and lights only.
Drive car out of garage and cut out, now when try to start, immo light on dash stay on solid for 2 mins then off, no crank and immobilised (bridged starter relay).

Took chip from key and immo light flash, unplug ecu and immo light flash correct code (code 16).
Put chip back still same.
No comms with any ecu via diagnostics.
No wiring damaged.

I am suspecting bcu, but spent 3 hours fcukin about with this today, anyone had this fault?

Sounds like a fuse popped on your way out. Are you sure there isn't a short. Have you double checked all the fuses??

I must agree, it does sound like a fuse, but all ok and all have correct feeds too.
The strange thing is the immo light flashes the correct fault code when I make a fault, but just stays solid when I plug all back in, also no comms with any ecu, but ecus all powered up?

hi, you need to do a search, member nutloose is a good stalk.

1) pins 6 and 14 on onb shoulbd be 180 ohms nd if bad can 60 ohms
DO YOUR REASERCH FIRST

2) Sorry, it's classifed information.

locate the fag lighter fuse, then the one each side 17 18? - replace these with tin foil or a nail.
