MB Sprinter 903 SSG SprintShift OFF Auto to Manual Gearbox

Hi,

I replace Sprinter 903 SSG SprintShift gearbox, with manual one.
I coded ABS With Manual Transmission
I coded ECU with Manual Transmission,

The only thing i can't recode is Instrument Kluster.
I can only see data but i can't change them from SSG to Manual.
The EEprom from IC is 93c66 anybody can help ? I need to post dump ? DAS dosen't let me to recode IC, because is aready Coded.


Any ideea ?

Maybe i need to virginize Instrument Cluster with a dump with manual transmission ??? and then Coding ? or how ? any ideas ? :)

Hi, i read EEprom 93c66 inside i read it in two ways :

93c66 and 93c66 x16

I didn't know wich one is good .

Waiting your reply and one question , this will affect the keys or odometer? is there any chance to appear : "START ERROR" ?

about "start error", you have black immo box near dash, so be cerful.

Thanx m8 i put the EEprom on the Dashboard and everything seems to be ok , no "start error" but i will try to start the car later on , some mechanical parts from manual gearbox are needed and i can't start right now :)

I will post results. Thanx for Odo changing aswell ;)

hi all, the dump seems to be ok, but i can't start the car.
No start error in instrument cluster, but i can't start it.
wheni put ignition and try to start it nothing happens.
Any chance ...somebody ???

how to virginize ? or any ideea...?
Do i need to post dump from ECU aswell???
Do i need to unplug the sprintshift ECU ?

Maybe after, you will receive it yourself.
You bump here and first demand solution for very serious problem.
Yes I m experienced on this problems but I dont give solutions to everyone just like that.

i understood , but i was searching the forum and didn't fiind nothing to help me, anybody talks about New IC coding, with DAS developer mode, but i can't do that , i change the bin, no start error but the car is not starting is not turning the starter..... so i will appreciate if you can give me a hand.... thank you ....

I try almost everything....i take out SSG ECU, i change Dump in Instrument cluster....still nothing but i don't get authorisation from ECU.... i get P1617 and the car don't start, what i need to do...:(

I bypass the starter relay, the car starts but it will not go more than 3000 RPM and the EDC lignt is on because the error regarding:
SSG has been coded as manual transmission.

I take out the SSG ECU, and now the gears from dashboard are gone .

I want to know , where in the ECU , under DEVELOPER Menu, where is TRANSMISSION selection menu, because is it in german ... and i think this will fix the problem :)

dear , P1617 will let you to start your car , but you complicate very much your situation.
And your tricks with bypass of the starter relay isn't the best solution ... use your brain ! or let other to do this job.

Tried start keys supplied.

2nd key enabled developer on 906 sprinter and 639 vito but not on
901 902 903 904 905 type sprinter.

I have never seen developer used with 903 sprinter!

Has anyone got any screen shots of DAS 903 developer sprinter?
