Need help in Ducati Dash

Anybody can calculate the dump attached

Ducati Dash
EEProm: 24C16
Orig: 999 miles
I need to reset to the lowest value or below 10 miles

or maybe anyone has a power up connection to power the dash on the bench so that I can get the checksum calculation?

the mileage is at
00010: DA 3E 00 00
00020: DA 3E 00 00 ==> 3EDA ==> DEC 16090 ==> 16090/10 = 1609km = 999mi
then for 8 mi==>
00010: 50 00 00 00
00020: 50 00 00 00
this would be to calculate the new mileage ...
Now would not know if this dump has checksum calculation

you may try algo of Opel astra TRW 24c02 , I think it's closed algo ,plz have a look at the attached pic.
of course this is just an idea cause, I have never seen this dash before at all.. so am sorry if I was wrong :stoned:

Next time I will have the Checksum Calculation of this Dash

The problem about this dash is when you changed the code with wrong checksum the mileage goes to zero (all Location of mileage code will be "0000000000" when you power the dash

But no problem, my next assignment will be the checksum calculation of Ducati Dash:manutop:

Can you explain for dim people who don't really IN-correct milage, but are intreasted in it for entertaintment, or educational reasons.

So what is the milage now on the speedo?

Hi, try this

The mat for fix km/miles = Aprillia Atlantic 500 24C01
For 1 km replace DA 3E for 0A 00
