So its already softmodded you just need games putting on an hard drive and the USB Loaders installing?

First of your going so need a suitable external hard drive if you don't have one then not all external hard drives are suitable.

USB Compatibility List (http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-faqs-guides-tutorials-only/36504-usb-compatibility-list.html)

I can give you my tutorial on doing that.

I don't think your granddaughters would like my type of games, shootem up, driving/racing, puzzles etc, they might like the puzzles.

How old is it or when did you buy it?

Check the system version. Start it up and click on the Wii button bottom left then click on the Wii Settings spanner in the right. On the top right it will show you a Ver. and a number and letter e.g. 4.3E thats the system version type that into here.

Do you have a suitable preferably powered external hard drive?

update to 4.3 and use this http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f16/modmii-4-3-4-windows-170234/ to softmod your wii this will mod your wii and give you the usb support you want.

So if you have an hard drive with Wii games on whats that been used on and what size is it?

Is it formatted FAT32, NTFS or WBFS?

So your used to downloading torrents?

Oh does this Wii have WiFi internet connection? Its easier to update any new game pictures rather than downloading each individual pic and putting them in the correct folder from http://www.wiiboxart.com/pal.php
