Opel Corsa D Temic 13 283 819 HB - crash data reset

Hi Guys,

I would need to have the crash data from this dump.

It's from a 2009 Opel Corsa D with Temic 13 283 819 HB airbag ECU.

Somebody has messed with this airbag ECU before I've touched it, so it can happen that the file is corrupt as it is!

OPCOM gives three trouble codes with the following:
"Replace airbag ECU"

I've tried to reset the crash data with OPCOM but no luck, I guess this is because of the messed dump...

Tried this, and this one is the first dump which made a difference!
Now only one B1000 - Replace Electronic Control Unit (ECU) trouble code exists instead of the 3 before, and the passenger airbag deactivation switch now blinks, insted of steady lighting as it was before!

But still, crash data is there!

Gonna try the second dump from Bllinda :)

Last dump made the crash data error go away, but it went back after engine start :D


BTW. is there a way to make a virgin dump out of this? as the programming is bad, as both the front impact sensor and the passanger airbag deactivation switch is not programmed right, and now I can not change the programming...

UPDATE!!!!

Now we found out 100% sure that the dump in my first post is not the original, as some spanner monkey has messed with before me!


Trouble codes existing now:

B0083-71 - Invalid data from the front impact sensor
B0098-0E - Passanger side airbag deactivation switch configuration error
B1000-39 - Reaplace SDM electronic conrtol unit
B1000-39 - Reaplace SDM electronic conrtol unit
B1000-39 - Reaplace SDM electronic conrtol unit



What should I do now? Should I keep on trying different dumps, or should I find a virgin dump from somewhere?

Chacked the algorythm of the Ico's Airbag Crash Data Cleaner and it doesn't work!


Still looking for a cleared crash dump! Or a virgin dump!

try this, put this dump in your ecu dump, put it in the car and reset the unit with the OP COM, then program the unit in the car with your pin code

Great Work!!!! No crash data now, but the configuration is not right (naturally)...

This car doesn't have that outer pretensioners, curtain airbags and it's LHD.

Is there a way to change the coding, as now the airbag ECU is locked so no coding allowed right now!?

Tried it! Not good.. :( Crash data still there and it also gives out fault codes at the airbags which are good and present!

Is there a virgin file available for this airbag ECU?


If not, how can I change the airbag configuration? As if it's locked you can not change it later!

You can see the configurations are greyed out, and I can not change them. Down the text says:
"Airbag ECU is locked! Reprogramming is not possible!"


Is there a way to unlock this?

I still have never heard the SRS unit to lock up.
Try to Tech2, maybe it will help you. Good luck

It was the same with the Opel Vectra C I repaired before! You can only configure it once, and if the configuration is done you have to lock the ECU, and after the configuration can not be altered :)

maybe the main ecu needs unlocking. i have the same problem with my corsa D airbag module, original module is temic 13 256 905 CC which got fried, so i replaced it with a 13 283 819 HB, clear and reset it, added pincode, but cant alter configuration as its locked. giving me couple of errors on opcom including car is left hand drive :(
