I managed to distroy Contro unit while traying to remove hc11 4e28b which i whanted to renew. SMD is ok. I wonder if i can buy new used ecu to put in my car? What do i need to move from my ecu to the new used one? Or Can i just remove hc11 4e28b from one i buy and make all FF and then code with star with my vin and coding number? Please help

when you buy new ECU you must buy with right partnumber there is alot of types of pinouts.. you need processors and eeproms (if you have) plus flash memory

you must use hotair!
But you can desolder this micro with normal iron, when you can
good desolder.

I find one used ecu with same part number i am going to have it friday or monday.
