Enigma problems, don t buy it.

I pay for update cas 3 obd2. Trying with mini cooper. Not work. With c40 cable dash plug, not work.

Golf mk3 dash plug, not work.

Some edc 16 and edc 15, not work. In enigmalist, they said all versions covered.

Support enigmatool answer, try with chinese tacho !!!

For direct programming chip it s a good tool but when you paid much money for obd2 correction who not works, i m very furious.

Mini works spot on , your obviously doing it wring what year did you try with c40 as for the 2007 upwards you new obd prog is needed you will get the odd few working by cluster lead , edc 16 dosnt go obd after early 08 , I'm thinking you haven't a clue what your doing . Find a new craft my friend this isn't for you

Yes enigma is a good tool and works well with many cars. But some times, not work. I have many exemples.

When i write this post, i was very very furious because 3 customers comes back to me with job and i can't do it.

I do this job since many years with cheaper tool. (Tacho, xprog, vag k+can) abritus AVDI. This year i bought a very expensive tool and not work with some cars. This is why i m furious.

I thinking when you buy an expensive tool, you can make all cars "like describing" in manual.

Enigma manual said : golf 3 dash diag, cas3 obd2 or dash plug. EDC 16 and EDC 15 all versions covered. It's written on original manual.

I pay for that and sometimes not work. I contact support and they said : "enigma not good with old cars". OK NO PROBLEM. Work with old chinese tacho universal.

But why they said on manual, it works.

EDC 16 in audi A3 2004. Read good mileage. When i try correct it, some seconds before finish writing new mileage, a window opened. (FE AC 23.....). And mileage stay the same.

Mini cooper 2007 with cas 3. Removing dash, make new m35080, programming... Try cas 3 obd2. Can't read mileage. Trying with dash plug cable c40. Can't connect. Last solution, direct programming but 1 hour for removing cas3.

Golf mk3, when i connec plug to dash, enigmatool go off and simply stop working. Not just a bug.

you are right it exist one version of edc16 who can't be writed by obd 2 , this type of ecu must be done by eeprom , if you use avdi or other tool you can see that's you can't do it by obd !!!

i think your cas was 9S12DG256 ! if you try to use cas3 via obd you can't do it , so next times use c40 and cas2 diagcan program ;)

I have never had a problem with EDC 16, unless of course you have ECU Simos PPD then you're using dump tool and read eeprom (its much easier to open then Bosch ecu ) and calculate km .

For me on T5 2008 and Phaeton 2005 edc16 AVDI didnt changed mileage value. Tried with Enigma. Same result.

I wonder when it will work for mercedes enigma.
EZS km value does not change. Complete Assyst values ***8203;***8203;will be deleted. kilometers dealer goes to the customer to understand changes. is not a device that can be used to.
3800 euro I paid for the update. but I still can not mercedes. JCI does not change the display of polo. of the new VW does not change. DSG no connections to most of the time.
I have a friend of mine and perfected elprosys device is running. I think the market's best and a great support all models. value of all the modules can .. disappointing enigma

I think you have to have both boxes really to qualify for a valid opinion , I use both every day , both are as good or as bad as each other , instance w203 dash plug enigma dosnt work any more dp3 never fails , audia4 rb8 dp3 right mess on to do it , enigma 2 second job , I could go on all day , truth Is one isn't better than the other ,
