Mercedes E200 1997 key won't turn on

Hello there,
I have mercedes e200 1997, car drives to petrol station, stop and never start again. I can't turn key stering wheel is lock.
I have VDO ecu
VDO
021 545 98 32
FD 97W23
AW 36.96
SW 07.97
HM 0046 HM 2.0L 4 Zyl

all fuse checked-all fine, battery is in good condition.
looks like ESI/key is faulty
I have got a new key new esi and new barrel key form another mercedes. also I have an ECU but this is BOSH

any chance to mach them?
Any ideas?

the keys give quite a bit of trouble, just make new key to cars eis and problem might be solved easily

the keys give quite a bit of trouble, just make new key to cars eis and problem might be solved easily. If you have the right tools you can test key first
