this is not a bad modification, the tuner had to know this engine and therefore the above-shifted torque, unnecessarily unchanged by pressure on the rail ... not moved out all limtery, therefore it is not harmful to the car, EGT will not be increased, but so can the fuel added followed by a large dust in fap

I'm sorry but this is one of the worst remaps I've seen. It is like tuning box. All power gain comes from making injection duration longer. (by 15%)

With this map the car will probably have DPF problems on the long run...

Tuner also somehow managed to find gear dependent torque limiters. A great way to kill your drive-shafts...

It is obvious that the man who did this has no idea about C39 ECU...

Well there is many things to worry about.

Injection is increased, because the duration map was raped all over with "15% mod". So the car will have more power (actually over 15% more). ECU will think that lambda is OK, but in fact it will be very smokey. That will clog up the DPF filter, and cause high EGT...

tuner could not raise power in the car so enlarge the injection time and rail, EGT will not go to the top because the thermal limiters will keep ...

and well as in the case of EDC15 by smoked like a ship :D

Yes i agree about duration tuning... very bad.
I was thinking about gear limiters... :)

Thermal limiters usualy work on lowering IQ not duration.

There is no "thermal limiters" for EGT in this ECU...
