View Full Version : Playing Real Games Online with a chipped box

Hi just got a xbox for the first time and was hoping to get it modded to play backed up games, but was hoping to play COD online ive got the proper game coming but will i be banned even tho its a real game if the box was chipped? i wont use any backed up games online only real games?

There is no guarantee if you will get banned or not. Modding the console is the risk you take.

Microsoft are trying theyre best to clamp down on piracy but to no evail. If you mod a console to play backups then you are taking a chance. Thats part and parcel of saving money.

I got bf3 and now I just got mw3, I play the modded bf3 online no issues and I won't go online with mw3 until its "official release"

just if you get games before their release do not go online.

ohh ok then, it is seriously to just try the game before i buy the real game, ive got MW3 but want to play online, i will not 100% play the backed up games online just wana try it

If your drive is modded then it doesn't matter if you play legit games or not, you still run the risk of getting banned just like everyone else.

Backups can lead to bans also, playing games early, not just a cfw, tho cfw has more than likely had most consoles banned
