I think attempts counter this is not a single byte...

All the numbers that are in clear in dump are related to serial and model. Only the sequence that I highlighted is free from any info regarding the unit. And the following 2bytes could be the code.
I have a similar unit in service for a usb problem 25915bh10c. How did you read the flash? Maybe I can read my eeprom and give you to try it in your unit.
