2004 MGTF Rover MEMS3 free run question

Hi Brothers,

Got a 2004 MGTF, car lost remote, only mechanical key left.
Tried with MEMS3 Free run but failed. No crank no response at all.
If i connect SCU and the "free run loaded ECU" together, alarm light is ON.
I use UPA-USB 93C66 8Bit write dump
Immo type: Pektron
Car: 2004 MGTF
ECU EEPROM: 93C66

This time I gonna add earth to starter relay, but i not sure how.
Is it by connecting the black and "black white" wire together at the SCU connectors ?

Is there any more advices to me please ?
Because the car is very far so i must be careful.

Job failed. Surely somewhere else incorrect. Gotta do some complex diagnostics.

Why give yourself a headache?
Just add new remote, post dump of scu and I will add remote to dump for you.
If you have problem getting remote, pm me and I may be able to help, also what freq is it working on, 433 or 315 mhz, sticker inside pektron box.

I didn't think it was MEMS3 on a 2004 TF. It has a completley different BCU / SCU. It has a Pektron YWC001540 fitted behind the centre console. You may be lucky and have the updated YWC001541 which is just as bad for relay failure.

okay the car now started , but the F D light keep flashing and cannot increase gear ! Looks immo disable correctly but still wrong file for engine ECU

Ok it might need a relearn, i will do that and report result,.

Car run 20KM until water boil, still failed to learn transmission adaption, any idea ?

hi dear friends,

i have one MG rover 25 with pektron YWC001541 SCU.
Remote is available but SCU 93c66 eeprom is damaged and eeprom is erased.
I have eeprom dump from other car.
What can i do for starting of this car?
