changing theme

Hi guys i eventually updated my software to gingerbread v12 android version 2.3.7 the problem i'm having is changing my theme i used to have the shortcuts on the corners of the homescreen and would like to install them has anyone any ideas how to do this there was also a digital clock that i used to use when touched the alarm would come on but for some reason this isnt working but is with other clock ?

The problem is either with the new rom or the launcher that is installed with it. If you want more themes download either go launcher ex or adw from the market. They have loads of themes
