Hi,

I have a volvo 2008 V70 2.0 16V D SID206 (136 HP) ecu to read, it wont read via obd port, so i need to read via BDM, my Chinese 555pro does not have a plug in for sid206 so do i take it this is not possible?

If not is it possible to update it to support this ecu?

If possible i would rather not discover i do not have the hardware to support this ecu the hard way i.e. connecting it to bdm and not getting a reading and having to let the customer down.

Thanks in advance.

BDM 100 clone read/write sid206 from Volvo v50. Maybe you can update your bdm to bdm100 v1255.

You may find the ecu is a SID803A can be done with 1255 clone also

Does 1255 have SID206 in the plugin list?

I am presuming it has an SID206 as in dimsports application list it states that ecu, I am yet to inspect the car further.

Looks like I will need to try to update it to 1255, I did briefly try updating it today but the update from DK was in a foreign language and I don't think I was doing something right, I got the first part installed, then I put the ID in the keygen, and created a key file but couldn't do anything with it to make the software work. Any ideas?
