dm800 se oled display flashing/flickering

hi guys i have a dm800 se and the oled display keeps flashing/flickering. if i restart the box it goes back to normal for a little while. any thoughts, is it the screen or could it be the image. i am using dream elite. cheers kevin

take the lid off and reseat the ribbon cable between front panel OLED and mainboard. make sure it;s securely connected.
be careful not to damage anything though.
