WHY SAY 'ITS EASY' THEN PASSWORD THE FILE-WE THEN HAVE TO TAKE YOUR WORD FOR IT - NOW YOU HAVE IN A VERY VERY SHORT TIME THREE MEMBERS WHO ARE GENUNILY INTREASTED IN HOW TO DO THIS.

THIS IS ONE OF THE QUESTIONS IN THE PUB QUIZ ON MONDAY - I KNOW FOR A FACT BECAUSE I HACKED VIC'S EMAIL ACCOUNT.

JUST DEFYS LOGIC - IF YOUR GOING TO HELP PEOPLE, BUT NOT SHARE WITH OTHER MEMBERS, THEN YOU MIGHT AS WELL HAVE DONE THE WHOLE LOT VIA PM!

I GOT A ROUND OF ~~~~S OFF A CUSTOMER - TOOK A FEW DAYS LONGER TO FIX HIS CAR BECAUSE THE ONE AND ONLY FILE HERE ON DK
WAS PASSWORDED - THE BLOKE TOLD THE PASSWORD - BUT WHY PASSWORD IT IN THE FIRST PLACE.

IF THIS THREAD ENDS UP WITH UMPTEEN THOUSAND POSTS SAYING 'PASS PLEASEEEEE' IT'S GOING TO BE YOUR FAULT, YOU FUD.

AWESOME no password - just makes it easier for other people to HELP other members.

Can only suggust

1) Read chip again compare data
2) try w/p the chip.

is it a toyota or diautshu - dump rar called diautshu?
year of car, more info

Hopefully we find out how to add key to dump, could do with finding out before Monday for the pub quiz.

Thanks

I think the quikest way is for some one with the Diahatsu module activated on TMPRO to program a tpx1 and read it then see where that data is located, and bingo we will have an idea of how to go about it.
The car is a toyota(no surname) but the system is diahatsu.

Hi mates!

I did not have an access to the intrnet 2 days, therefore forgive for the late answer.
This algo posted on DK long time ago (not by me). You need convert 4C key data (sometimes with swap bytes) from TIRIS key format in IMMO EEPROM format (look at attached picture), after this done, you need to put key data in immo dump (dump with one key 06A8C771 is attached too).
This solution works on 100%. no pass

WHATS SYNCRNO BETWEEN ECU AND IMMOMEAN?

WHOA CAPS LOCK.

Think like the Persil advert - "The powder said hot - the label said not"

They are unsynronised - if you pluuged your ecu off your car into another car - nil poi - no start - syncroise your ecu to another car - hi ho silver away.

On toyota join pin 13 - 4 (SEARCH THAT) for 35 mins, then away.

Some cars you have to use diagnostic tool - some cars do it automatically when you pair keys

Hi mates.

About synchro - solution with join pins 4 and 13 of OBD connector for 35 minutes not work with all Toyota cars. I some cases, you need to put synchro bytes manually in dump. In attached picture example for Toyota Duet 2002 with 4C key type (immo with eeprom 93c66 and ecu with 93c56).

The car started at long last, the file uploaded by ZOHAR worked, for some reason the car started and just shut down after a minute and refused to start, only to discover that the car had blown two ignition coil packs and was now firing on one cylinder.by the way this is a 3 cylinder engine.
Big up to Zohar for the lesson on this kind of dump editing.:bounce::giveup:

Hello
I have 2007 Toyota Passo 9 (Same as Diahatsu ) with all keys lost. I read the immo dump, clone the key from dump and start car without any problem.
Now I want to add a battery-less transponder chip to the car so I read one of my 4C chip and write to dump, car no longer start although steering lock is realese because immo see battery-less chip.
How do I resync the Engine ECU to the new data in the immo dump ??.
If I put back the original dump on immo the will start with the clone key from dump.

Help

Help

I spent alot of time on this today so here is what I did in a nut shell

2007 JAPAN Domestic Market Toyota Passo with Keyless start Option, with 4C Transponder.
ALL KEys Lost.

Engine ecu will need to be virginize when adding a key or when all keys are lost.
Virgin file for Engine ECU is usually all ZERO "00" except the last line,
Line 00 X 00F0 example shown below:
00 00 00 00 00 00 BF 40 00 00 00 00 00 FF 00 FF

RA57 Chip in engine ecu will not take rewrite and might need replacing.
This sometime is the cause for code P1601. Replace this chip solve this problem.
93C56 X 16 Bit series will work ok.

Step A:Save original Immo Dump from 93C66 chip if possible
Write new key or keys to immo dump and rewrite immo.
Lots and lots of working example found in forum on how to add key to dump

Step B: Save original Engine Dump from RA57 chip if possible.
Virginize Engine ECU.
Step C: Reconnect both boxes to car and turn ignition on with A replacement key
for 30 second then start car.

Hope this info will help other it took me 14 hours to figure this all out.
