Can anybody help, thinking of putting a taxi on the road but would like to know the requirements my vehicle should have and the psv inspectors test entails....

"Approval taxi and vehicle requirements

If you want to taxi out with a car that is suitable for passenger, you need a taxi inspection certificate. The RDW performs inspections of equipment. You can make your company or individually inspected by an approval.

blue plate

Taxis are required to carry a blue plate. You ask a taxi registration with the RDW. The inspection documents you send with your application.

taximeter

Every taxi that no contract services shall be provided with an approved taximeter. These must be inspected annually by NMi.

onboard computer taxi

Every cab must be equipped with an onboard computer taxi. The trip computer automatically records trip data, the working time, driving times and rest periods. The Kiwa Registry provides several onboard computer cards to the data from the onboard computer to read:
