how to dual boot xp from two drives ?

Hi, my mate has only one desktop PC in his house,his wife is now using the computer & has been Virused/trojaned...needless to say he's well pissed off . I have suggested that he buys a second H/D & they each have their own drive. He would still like to use his XP pro on both drives...how would I go about this so they can choose their "own" drive at bootup?

my old comp had 2 hard drives, 1st drive ran windows xp and the 2nd vista. I would just use the boot menu ( F11 at startup, I think it was) to select which drive I wanted to boot from.

.....but there are probably better ways to go about it

Thanx for the fast reply, I was wondering if there was a "simple/foolproof" way of giving them a selection of e.g select "A" or "B" drive at startup...even better if it said "Mary" or "Peter" ! !

I have all sorts of operating systems on diferent hard drives on my main computer, For me the best way to do it is to only have one drive connected at a time when you load the operating system, disconect the one that you have just loaded, then connect the next one and do the same and so on, Doing this gives you a bootloader on each drive, After you have finished connect all drives and boot up selecting the drive you want by pressing F11 or whatever your computer F key is.

Or you could copy a complete full operating system to another hard drive on your computer, I use Clasper to do this.
