I used 2 years ago mod file from Opel Astra 1,7dt,it's a good file.Good files can be found easily with File Comparer software.

I personally tried a map for Opel Astra 1,7 dti,2 years ago(I was lucky,I was unconscious, I knew nothing about tuning)car covered over 140,000 km without damage,car has about 90 hp after remap.I compared a tuned map for GOLF 4 with ALH engine from DVD with a tuned map made by a professional tuner,no difference, but I found many tuned maps ,an absolute disaster.
Work done to look for a good tuned map is greater than work if you made your own mod file.Course can be used as a case study.
I do not advise anyone to use this DVD maps because we will have more topics that start with "Help???"

I do not understand why people try these files and having no idea if the file is fine or not. I have also downloaded some files and bought some dvd's in the past and some files where okay, but most where very bad and could damage your engine, so be warned.
If you have to knowledge to check if the file is fine, you should make the file yourself.
