does the 6902 work with top up tv? have an espn cam and topuptv card

does topup tv not have their own topuptv cam ?
I did not hear or see any post about it yet on tm's
I'm sure it will do no harm to try it,let us know if it works for future refference.

Topuptv isn't really a proper channel - its mostly an overnight streaming service which fills a local hard drive with 'selected' programs and movies for later viewing. As its not a real channel its unlikely a third-party box would support this service. You really need a Freeview+ compatible box

ESPN is, of course a real channel. It uses standard SECA encryption (which is actually now part of Kudelski, who make the VM cards) so can be decrypted using a standard SECA cam. Both TopupTV and ESPN sell their own versions of branded seca cams but they are all interchangeable.

Are you sure its SECA?
It could be a Nagra combination of SECA. The cards state Nagravision on them.

Nagra & Seca are now the same company (owned by Kudelski) but the card used on UK terrestrial have always been SECA protocol ever since ITVDigital. Afaik, the protocol is now SECA V10.0

Todays SECA cards are actually an identical card to those used by Nagra (N3) but with a different program stuck on them to give them the SECA protocol. The cards may even have both protocols programmed on them with functionality selected by option bit at initial factory configuration.
