I need to put ecu in boot mode, do I need to do connect pins of ecu on bench or can I use car harness and read it trough car's obd port .For example connect pin 24 to ground for 2secs and then read it from car's obd.

I've done so and so, choosing as appropriate.

In Boot @Table some flashtools use lot higher data transmissison as on OBD...so it may cause some problems...

But theoretically possible...

So I finaly tried it on table it's smart meg 1.0 ecu 261205004
ECU layout is same as in this picture
http://wiki.obdtuning.com/images/d/d1/MCC_Smart_MEG_10_11_Platine1.jpg
I used this schema to connect +12,gnd,kline and connect it to MPPS

Can't get ecu info.
Tried with same wires on other ecu's like IAW59 and it works flawlessly.
Are connections in these pictures ok?. How long boot pin should be connected to GND? 2sec or more?
I'm useing pc atx power supply, get's only 11.5volts is this problem?

i no on the 29f400/29f800 the boot pins are different depending on what processor it has...ie bosch or siemens

BOSCH:
put to gnd flash 24pin
switch on power supply
up to gnd flash 24pin
id,read, write now possible in boot mood

HAve found the Issue for other user with same problem.... Its timout problem....

if Galletto say put pin 24gnd you must be click okay thans wait 1 second and after that take power on ecu with boot pin on it works perfect.... if you start ecu bevor they dont read and error cames up....
