Well of all the forums I dwell I decided to pick this one for my somewhat random waffle.
Ive been ploughing through the internet on topics of research on various topics. But the more I read the more, I get confused.
There is a lot to take in but, I don't get the colours or grammar some people use. I am sure that the writers information could be helpful in my research/hobby, but I just can't decipher the true meaning.
I may have lost my mind and their information could be meaning less, but as I cant unravel it, I cant rule out the information they provide.
Could be the lack of nicotine I am trying to give up I have cut down and I am considering vaping. I also seem to get into this pediciment nightly, how do I know which version of events to belive, if I cant understanding it in the first place.
I am currently trying to get freesat working on my pc (as posted in another section), but that isnt going so good either.
Maybe I should just go back to being a gamer simple life. I have a lot of junk around, old xbox xbox 360 with RRD an old samsung cable box and a virgin super hub given by a friend. One of my projects was to see if I could put these to any other use, this is a work in progress and I am going to install linux on the old xbox might be able to put it to some use then, stick an old hard drive in it.
Still leaves me with lots of crap and is quite fun although detracts time from my research. I have a lot of time on my hands at the moment, so plently of time to kill. But the confusion is killing me.
If you read this random rant this far well done, random rant over thank you for reading.

I could not have said it better, I think a lot of newbies like me read a lot of conflicting information about the subjects we are interested in, but it is great to have a forum like this where other members will point us in the right direction, so hang in there and we will all learn from each other.

Bann, stick with giving up the ciggies and plenty of almost sane people on here if you want to talk on any topic.
It's best not to mention cars or MeatHead will be all over you with his MH Elocution Dictionary which I'm still trying to grasp after 2 years.

Lol I didn't expect that many replies, thanks. Confusing tho it it is, I seem to be on the right track. I just cant get my head round the final bits, but your comments have eased me.
This reasearch has drove me insane. I want some fun but dont think I know what that is either. Might also take up some radio amm.
Ive thought of doing many things, but I am not sure which way to go.

Well, I have decided the cigs have to go. I would prefer to use the easiest option, as I am quite clumbsy.
Whilst I will worry about when I go out later.
Im wondering if there was a sort of static one that charged off the plug socket.
Also, other than the health benefits. When researching it was hinted there are other benefits, I just didn't quite find the purpose of these other benefits.
I know I am a pain in the a**, but the I did warn on the title random and confused.
- I would of course buy a very short use one in town, to see if I prefer vaping to smoking, even if I just do it in the house for now, it would be a step in the right direction.

there is a thread about vaping, the type you will need depends on where and how much you will be using it,
there are larger batteries for all day vaping, and there are various types of tanks which holds more eliquid, or there are cartomisers which hold less eliquid but I think give a better throat hit,
you can also buy variable voltage batteries, the higher the voltage, the more throat hit, and vapor production,
I would recommend you try one of the disposable ones available at most supermarkets(?5), this will give you an idea whether you like it or not, it will last you about a day, but it saves you spending around ?50 on something you may only use once. have a read of the thread below.

Thats hard to answer but I would say that I would be at home quite a bit given with a bit of luck will be the 'supplier' for a couple of friends, id be doing the ordering. Bit concerned about going OTT straightaway. Was thinking of trying the plum flavour that was suggested, and maybe another flavour, also being a vape virgin.
I wouldnt have been so tight on the money if I didnt loose my job.

If you are going to be using it mainly in the home, then have a look at the, Passthrough batteries, these allow you to vape while it's charging via USB cable,
As for flavour, one of the best around for price and quality is vaporworld Fuel (eLiquid, SmokeJuice) - Items - www.vapourworld.co.uk (http://vapourworld.co.uk/shop/category_8/Fuel-%28eLiquid%2C-Smokejuice%29.html?shop_param=cid%3D%26), if you send Paula an email she will do you a sample batch of 5x6ml bottles for ?11.
one flavour that seems to be a universal favourite is RY4.

If your short on money, and you can use a soldering iron and a drill, it's very easy to build your own USB passthrough.
parts you will need.
a small plastic box - Small Narrow Box : Plastic Enclosures : Maplin Electronics (http://www.maplin.co.uk/small-narrow-box-1666)
a push switch - Push-to-Make Switch : Push Switches : Maplin Electronics (http://www.maplin.co.uk/push-to-make-switch-34858)
and a 510 battery connector - Mods - E-Cig Battery Connectors (http://www.liberty-flights.co.uk/product.asp?id=36)
Drill a hole on the top of box to fit your 510 connector into
then drill another hole into front of box for the push switch, it should look something like picture 1
take an old USB cable and wire it up as shown in picture 2,
Red = live - solder into center of 510 connector
Black = neutral - solder onto outside of 510 connector.
then all you need is a 510 cartomiser and screw it into the connector, you can use an atomiser and tank, but it would be cheaper with a cartomiser.
this is obviously only for home use or in the car, via a USB socket.
