i have tried to read this car with mpps v5...i only can get ecu id,so did a read with cmd 1255...id ok and it did a read..i have modded the file,but i am wanting to no about the checksum....will cmd 1255 correct the checksum or do i need to correct it before i do a write...

Have PP2000 ready to set configuration data.

i will be doing this with obd cmd-so will i need the planet..all i want to do is remove fap etc..

Think he means u may lose the injector codes after flashing

attention to friends
discourage serial write
you may lose data encoding injectors and ECU in the vehicle
only solution is downloading with the original instrument
safer bdm

It depends... If it's 1.6 110 BHP it has EDC16 so BDM read/write is the best way, but if it's 2.0 110 BHP it has EDC15 and BDM doesn't handle it - only desoldering 29F400BT.

i never had problems with losing injector coding by using original cmd.

I think the magic thing is to wait at least 3 minutes to change the ignition to the on possition. At least i get this messsage with cmd.

i did notice that message in mpps,but mpps wouldnt read the car,so i used cmd 1255 obd gto read it..

the problem is data loss in vehicle ECU
