I did the same thing with my ECU (changed to UNLOCKed) out of 1998 w202 and still can't pass thru the Drive Authorization... used Star diagnostic. I go to write identification, write new vin (tried matching the one in the EZS and matching the car ) with no result.
A little more details: used from one car EZS w/key and Steering lock. I need to make the computer work with this parts
I did try the top CODING menu in Adaptation Function and the process goes thrugh, NO Problem, but still no start. Data shows that ECU is in Unlocked State. Any ideas?:banghead:
