Hello today I got one VCM , when I start IDS get message that need update Vcm. But processing never stop..??? and can not start diagnostic..

What version,did you bougt good clone or crap like chines sell these days,did you look how it looks from insade?

Hello I have v.74 IDS and VCM has green pcb in alu box with 12V DC input on interface.

You need to run vcmclear util found on ids software itself..
After that update your vcm again
OR you can try flashing it to Jaguar Land Rover and back..

Hello I try vcm utility and flash only old bcf 10,01 and I test it with V71,72 and 75.. I think that is bad clone! Do not buy VCM with Alu case and 12v DC input!! IT is SHIT

Can you explane more about this vcm being shit ??? they look like to me there the better one's about.

have you tryed to update with vcm pluged into car ? if not try some china clones will not power up to 12v with 12v dc plug.

Some might not, but some do....mines does

I had the same problem with my clone and nothing worked. I had to send it back and they repaired it for me. works great now.

I had same problem.
Done my fcukin head in for 2 weeks.
Tried on other laptop, worked a treat!!
Powered vcm up via 16 pin connector, pin 16 to 12volt+ and pin 4/5 to negative.
Went through update like your picture and done, works great.

me too, I have same problem , alu box with green pcb and 12v connector.
I have only red LED ON, no orange LED.
I tried to reflash with vcmclear but I get error " failed to re-load gateway software "
any other solution ?

Try instal software on other PC thats working fine!!!
