Hi this is the first airbag ecu I have done and it looks like a pain can anyone tell me how I can read the chip on this ecu? I have a genuine upa and have the pinouts , I know it is a 68HC912B32 but it is located under another component is it just a case of desoldering the component then reading the chip then resoldering it back on?
Or are the alternative points to solder to on the board?
Also what is best for removing the protective coating/lacquer off the board?
