Hi, I need help with procedure programing PATS with engine ECU. After replecement car's battery immo light flashes. Two key was programed and this is ok. But with IDS > Body>Security>PATS I have ECU outcode "000000", PATS ok etc "81E35F". After generation good incode codes, IDS show that's code is wrong. Why I have ECU outcode "000000"?

In attachment screen with IDS. Please help me :)

RIGHT THAT'S BRILLIANT, BUT IF YOUR GOING TO UPLOAD THE SOLUTION AND PUT A PASSWORD ON IT - DON'T BOTHER - JUST DO IT ALL BY PM - THERE IS NOTHING WORSE THAN A SOLUTION TO A TRICKY PROBLEM, THEN A PASSWORD ON THE ONE AND ONLY WORKING FILE.

THERE IS A THREAD SOMEWHERE WITH 19 PAGES ASKING FOR THE PASSWORD - SERVER SPACE COTS MONEY - WHY CHOCK IT UP WITH 19 PAGES ASKING FOR THE PASSWORD!

THANKS

MEAT.

Thanks friends for reply! Problem solved. ECU (and SW) in this car was from Peugeot 307... I flash it Mazda BDM copy and ECU generate outcode. Whole the rest I'm doing with IDS Rotunda.

Ok, sorry for my language :) Step by step... I saw ECU from this Mazda and by his number I found that is from Peugeot 307 1.6HDI, someone manipulate SW. I write full BDM copy from Mazda/Focus and with IDS I synchronize ECU>PATS (Instrument Cluster in this case)

i think he use a peugeot diesel ecu and fit it to a Mazda vehicle , Thats why he had the problem, then he flash the ecu with mazda dump file , then all is ok with out code .

Hi
The main problem in all new mazda is " Can " communication between immo in Dash and ECU If you have problem with Can line in engine section -car will not start and immo will flash
1 you need measure resistance between can H and Can L- 66 Om and voltage -2,5v
2 try to clear DTC
3 If DTC still present I connect 2 wire between Can dash and can ECU
