Installation instructions:
1 - disconnect from the internet, the computer during the installation and activation; install and run
1 - put a checkmark in the Repair and Estimator and click Next
2 - You should see a window with information about what the program could not connect to the internet to activate. If it does not appear, so you do not turn off the computer from the Internet. Click Continue.
3 - From the dialog box, write down or remember two 5-digit numbers. This is a Computer ID number.
4 - run a-key generator "KeyGenOnDemandQ32011.exe"; enter the Computer ID; solve simple math problem and enter the answer in the form of numbers. "Russian CAPTCHA" was made in order to restrict access to key generator only for Russian-speaking Internet users; click the Generate button
5 - copy/paste serial keys from the generator to activate the window and click Next
6 - specify the path to date repair disk. Can be to an older version.

Every time you run the kg a new calculated number will be needed. You will need to ether add or subtract. Generally it will be a 2 digit number with possibly a minus sign in front of it, if it is a negative number.

yes it works but it gives you contact customer support security error when i restart i have to install all over again? theres got to be a way its getting out to internet to check the key i have to clear my firewall and see wht it is using to get out? anyone else get bad securioty key after restart?

So that means its not working then? Or I mean its working unless you restart the computer?

I downloaded from Wupload and altho I download the files fine which I did 2 times. I get a croupt error for file 32 and 36 and it finishes extracting but doesn't have disc 8 due to the error. I'm going to try Fileserve instead. Anyone else with this issue?

yes its an issue with this securty key token machine file...it goes out every so often to check your key and if it finds invaild key it shuts you down. if you look in the log it checks quit often. i have my firewall blocoking what i thinkit is and so far its working. if you go to task manager and find it under runing programs and process then if you go to service in admin panle its not there even running i had to shut things down one by one till it shut it down in service then i turned it off...so far i may have got it not sure. last time it worked for three days till the wekend i came in it shut me down, one time it was twise in same day so well see...anyone else gets this please post till the real way or better way comes about to kill this thing...it didnt happen for a while which was wierd? i had it running for few months now and bam out of nowhere it did this...there up to something mitchell is

nope they are 1st and these data disks wont work with the 5.8.2 ondemand....if you mount the disk and point to it it wont even see it. it tells you to find disk 2A for instance...these are 1A.....sorry...sucks to i need the newer disks...i lost hd and lost links to 1 2 3 4 dvds. i got 5 to 13, which this set only has 12, new set, true 5.8.2 has 13...anyone have live links to disks 1 2 3 4 from latest 5.8.2? just need 1 2 3 4....the rest i had burned to another drive...

i have both version and bot5h sets of disks? the one set has 12 the other 13, maybe im worng but if you look at the data on each dvd 1 threw 12 and or 13, its different, hench it wont work. meaing if you have 5.8.2.35 installed the program wont see disk 1 of version 5.8 as disk 1 as if it was 5.8.2 if you direct the program to look for disk 1 and mount orhowever have disk 1 5.8.1 in the drive it will keep asking for disk one untill you put in disk 1 5.8.2 as disks have different data on them. again maybe im wrtong i have tried to use the old disks 5.8.1 with the new program 5.8.2 and it just will not see the disks also it wants disk 13 which is not in 5.8,1 so if you got this working then your good, real good. so please share how you got 12 disks with different data to look at 13 disks with different disks the same way

no mixing around the net...lmao....i keep all versions...i did mix up the names but that was my error...i have mitchell and alldata from years and years ago to now...i never toss anything....and 13 disk set is when they went to new keys..thats latest verion 5.8.2...and so on... i have many many machines running 5.8.1 12 disk and a few running 13 5.8.2. i may be wrong and there may be a way to run backwards but never before has newest program worked with older disks...13 disk new 12 disks old...all over the net is a bad way....i did loose some links but i found them on my nas...again not wanting to argue about new old it matters what works for you...

WELL I HAD A FEW FILES BLOCKED ANSD IT WAS WORKING GREAT BUT I CAME IN THIS AM AND IT SAYS SAME THING AGAIN...I ghuess theres more to it then just the toekn file and one other od file. i had to open one of them not sure as it used the same file to go out and look for parts with manager soim gonna have to look at it close. i wish there was a program that would watch the pc and take not of any change to any file, henc when this file whatever one in mitchell is rewritten buy this check it would tell me what to block or what to rewrtite to make it lagit...the russians have had this thing going for months as i paid for it when it first cam,e out. i asked them whats up and i get have no idea never heard of it. thats where my suport stopped....guess ill have to reinstall. i know its with the repair key only the esitmator key is legit. i wish i knew where those files were stored by mitchell in what ini or what files as to make sure it cant be writeen to. any ideas, anyone?

Try running OD5 as admin. Worked for me been 2 weeks and no error. Also blocked mitchell token and od5 no problem

Don't worry even if you get past the install, in 1-3 weeks it gets shut down due to another software activation problem.

If you are experiencing difficulty with your upgrade, please read the information below before calling technical support:

1. Issue: Autorun must be on when 5.1 installs the .exe or the program does not look for OD5. This results in program conflicts since OD5 and OD5.1 were not designed to co-exist on the same system.

DO NOT DISABLE THE AUTORUN FEATURE. If you have disabled the autorun feature and run setup.exe, the version checking may not ever take place and the upgrade of the OD5.0 to OD5.1 software process may not be successful.

Workaround: Run StrtDsc2.exe from the Installation CD instead of Setup.exe. If the version on the machine and in the autorun.inf files does not match, a dialog is presented with the following message: "A previous version of OnDemand5 exists on your system. Do you wish to update now?"

This will help Translate Numbers on MOD Generator.

Keep Closing and Reopen the KeyGen until you get easy Russian Language to match below.
Put the numbers together to add, subtract, etc., until you get the right code.

Previous installer uses the floppy activation, newer version uses a key activation, so you'll need the crack provided to work, nothing different in the GUI just activation method. my advice is to use the 5.8.1 installer with the newer data if you can, I do, and it's working good...

I had the same thing on one of laptops, Dell. Problem has been fixed by updating BIOS. But I still have license error after shutting down computer/ restart Mitchell. Even without Internet. Any help?
