TODAY:- I have ONE simple job to do, new remote for a 1999 vectra.

Plugged in programmer, no comms, tried op com, no comms with central locking unit:(

Got another control unit from scrappy, fitted, got comms,GREAT!!

Entered pin code, ACCESS DENIED:(
pin was ok for immo.

Any one know where pin is stored in central locking box, and what ic?
Immo box is missing from scrap car too.

Bl00dy NIGHTMARE SUNDAY MORNING JOB.

maybe you should try to switch ign on and depress unlock or lock

I think second ecu has pin from another car and that is why your op com says access denied

RIGHT -COOL - AWESOMe _SUPER - SMASHING - GREAT.

In over 8000 posts only ever ONCE got a vectra to talk to diagnostic.

You could try reading the 93C46 - whatever in the unit.

OR

SEE if scrap yard has mathing set of module and remote

is going to scrap yard and programme that remore and module to scrapcar - then back to the costomers car an option.

OF TOPIC:-

Focus locking thread - update?

THANKS

Read all the chips in old module and post with the known pin. Then when we find it we will know which chip to read in the new module to get the new pin.

MH- not been back to focus yet, will update soon.

Using MVP, done loads of these with it, but you must choose the correct remote, there are several!!

I will read ic's on old unit and see if i can pick up the pin.....

checked all pins on obd, and all wiring is clean, dry and sound.

Might have to butcher alarm box to stop flashers going, then download 'jim'l fix it' remote locking kit from flea bay:(

AND ADMIT DEFEAT (again)

Right this information is normally only issued to VIP Members - hence why some of it is classifed information:-

*THINK* the small multiplug on the locking control unit at one end
(sorry classified information which end) very end pin - if it's not red - then again classified information. - This gives out a negative pulse to work the traficators.

If you look ~~~~ knows where you will see a brown/red - this works the under hood hooter - cycle ignition - cut this - if power sounder goes - then tough

As for ho-chi-min locking kit off ebay - neg pulse - the bigger plug

red is b+
solid brun is neg
brown/whie neg pulse to unlock
brown/red neg pulse to lock

don't even think about trying to make the dead man locking work
(release the neg off the black/blue - but deadman locks the coustoemer inside)
