DM500C is the cable receiver that is compatible with Virgin.

DM500S is a satellite receiver.

Just to clear up why..the s stands for satellite and the c stands for cable... But there is a openmedia dreambox out there which is cable and sat..varient by a flick of a switch...

any box out there yet wit sat and terrestrial tuners based on the dreambox, prob be a small market here tho...

Dreambox 7025 supports two tuners, if you bought the Sat model you could buy a Terrestial tuner and plug that into it.

Thanks m8, ill look into that do u know if there are any compatibility issues with them, havent done much wit sat "yet" so tryin to decide what to buy...

Compatibility with what mate? :)

My mate had a 7025 with Satellite and Cable tuners installed, he never once complained of any problems with it.
