Intresting question - what is the difference for thick people

Thansk

HPi.............High Pressure Petrol Injection..........which has a high pressure pump fitted like the Diesel Engines.........

HDi.............High Pressure Diesel Injection..........

and when I say a Normal Petrol Engine that means 1.4 lt, 1.6 lt, 2.0 lt, or 2.2 lt...............

Yes found that intresting.

OFF TOPIC:=

Was to full of 'funny pills' and 'strange green stuff' from saturday night - to bump Obdmasters "Reading tricore Infenity Processer" thread for a giggle.

ON TOPIC:-

Well if it's a Prince engine - then can suggest that you

a) Look for the Mini non start thread
b) Wait for Obdmaster to add his input.

With that Prince link - or is it just a symbol now?

never heard about HPI engine in PSA 2005 cars specially C4. it could be just an MPI engine .(MPI = Multi Point Injection)

the reason of running baddly and no access on diag could be the system relay called also Double-relay. do you get com with BSI and other controller?

other thing that you must pay attention to spark plugs.must be original parts for this engine

Thanks everyone for your replies .it's not a bpi engine .I found a bad can connection in the dlc .I drove the car with aftermarket coilpack fitted and after a while it ran onto 2 cylinders .I ordered genuine coils will report back when I know more thanks Scoot
