Can anyone explain in simple terms, the exact procedure for re programming a bsi [ with virgin dataset] to a Peugeot 308
Using Planet?

First you have to print all the configuration settings in the BSi or right then down . If you go into BSI data it should say this at the bottom of the screen menus.
Then change the BSI. Input the configuration settings manually into the new BSi then program the keys with the 4 digit security code.
If you dont have these settings then you have to see what specs you have on the car. IE what radio or cd,4 or 5 door,manual or auto etc

But first confirm the security code you have is correct, blank BSI will accept any code you enter even if wrong

The simplest is read the data from the old EPROM and loaded into a new BSI there immo handle vin transporders and remote

but happens is bsi is courrupt.
and no parameters are saved it it the long way round

Obviously you dont realise that the majority of times, the reason for virginise bsi and reprogramme ..............
IS THAT EEPROM DATA IS CORRUPT!
