Hello guys before I start I am a complete noob, I just started the softmod 2 days ago. I have 4.1e Wii and I have homebrew on my channel. I have "got" games and loaded them on the usb loaders. Some of the games work (mostly old) such as Super mario bros wii. , wii sports, dbz, dead space, etc. however others such as Just dance, Red steel 2, etc do not work .

I have read things about cios, ios,but what the hell are they? :D

I have uloader, cfg loader and neogamma install.

Here is my wii report (have no clue what it means, but may help you - to help me :D)

Welcome to the forum.

however others such as Just dance, Red steel 2, etc do not work .

I have read things about cios, ios,but what the hell are they?

Well both of my Red Steel apps and all 3 of my Just Dance apps play ok so it sound like you need your CIOS wads updating.

I think IOS are like dlls that Windows use to run certain apps and you can upgrade the dll with newer versions. CIOS is a custom IOS.

You can download NUS Downloader (NUSD) v1.9 (http://wiibrew.org/wiki/NUS_Downloader) to make any IOS wads you need you would have to search for CIOS wads.

I installed cIOS249[38]-v17.wad for my 3 USB Loaders.

I'm not much for your Pimp v2.28 report you would be better of doing a syscheck. I can't post any links as they are mainly on another Wii forum but if you http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a121/KStanier/google.gif wii syscheck you will find them. You can run it off HBC which creates a sysCheck.csv file on the root of the SD card. You can open this file with WordPad if you don't have Excel and copy and paste it into here so we can check which IOS's and the versions that are being used.

Take that system report and follow the instructions on Digital Kaos - Downloads - modmii 4.3.4 (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/downloads/wii/16/modmii-4-3-4-1405/) and when you get to the part asking what you want to do click the upgrade only option this will then ask for your syscheck so just copy it where it tells you and let the program do the rest. By the way this is an old version and will auto update as soon as you run it on your pc...Yes modmii is for the pc not your wii
