Here you go

Lawdog1, was the dump a tested solution.???
because i got DTC's
B1231 right seat or longitudnal acceleration , threshold exceeded
B2290 Occupant Classifications system fault

i try to calibrate seat. it would fail.
customer was upset so they left couldnt try anything else.

Yes, I did two 7E53 this week like that ...

I have heard that Fords are known to store crash data in different locations, so the same solutions don't always work ...

really different locations.? wow.

really different locations.? wow.

Just a guess, but may be due to the direction(s) the car was hit, front, l-side, r-side, etc.

You can see in these posts it's not always cut and dry:

http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f170/2007-ford-galaxy-crash-data-106228/ (read modulegod's post ... but I haven't been able to reset any 2006+ and most 2005 Ford with VCM/IDS so not sure he's entirely correct)
http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f170/08-ford-focus-9s43-14b321-cc-ocs-code-wont-go-away-218610/
http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f170/question-about-08-ford-focus-ocs-module-218201/

My clear worked for the 2 I did, but it could be that they were hit in the same direction. Also the guys have the real deal Ford IDS to calibrate the seat as opposed to an aftermarket scan tool (not sure if they even had to). Yours maybe was a side hit with crash stored in the OCS module itself? (see posts above) anyway, sorry it didn't work for you .... hate to hear that.

vehicle had pass side impact, crash stored in pass seat railing, replace seat or railing.. good luck

never clear vin and part #, you mistaken me with some one else, but if your tested file does not work with hard faults in o.p.d.s. this is the way to go, done hundreds of them.

Ultracompare from Ultraedit - that program will let you compare two files and see the difference
